Guests of the Sequoia High Sierra Camp will enjoy weather conditions that are typical of the alpine backcountry. Chilly mornings giving way to long, warm days and spectacular evening sunsets leading to cool, crisp temperatures overnight.

Frequently during the summer months, there are swift moving thundershowers that enter our region. If rain is predicted during your stay, you will want to bring a second pair of hiking shoes (in case your shoes become damp during the hike into camp).
