The Camp allows guests a unique way to explore Sequoia's forests, mountains, and meadows. By eliminating the need to carry provisions, bedding, and shelter, the Sequoia High Sierra Camp allows guests to tread lightly over wilderness trails. A day pack is usually sufficient to carry all the gear guests will need during their stay. All meals, snacks, linens, and toiletries are provided.

We recommend that guests bring comfortable shoes and extra socks in addition to their normal hiking gear. Warm pajamas, gloves, hats, and a jacket are recommended for the chilly nights and mornings.

Some extra items guests may want to bring include rain gear or a poncho, flashlight, sunscreen, water bottles, bug spray, a camera and film, telescope, day packs for hiking, and a bathing suit for swimming in nearby lakes.

Cellular telephone service is not available from the Camp. We do have access to a satellite telephone, internet, and email in case of emergency.
