Camp Overview
Nestled on a steep wooded hillside overlooking the Yosemite of the Kings River, the Sequoia High Sierra Camp is the last luxury outpost before you enter two million acres of High Sierra wilderness, a vast roadless area of old growth forests and fourteen thousand foot peaks.
An oasis in the wilderness, the Camp consists of 36 cavernous tent cabins, a dining pavilion and a bathroom building with flush toilets and hot showers. All meals are included - a full mountain breakfast, a sack lunch and a casually elegant dinner.
A short hike from the roads end, the Camp is a peaceful vacation venue with a staff dedicated to the comfort and relaxation of their guests. The Camp's daily routines are governed by long, sunny days and cool brisk nights. There are spots for peaceful reading, as well as miles of hiking trails and meadows to be explored. There is fly-fishing in the streams of Rowell Meadow and Boulder Creek an a little farther afield, the glacial lakes of the Kings - Kaweah Divide
